Ive found that when 'regular' people take photos of the moon, they turn out less than, well they just don't even turn out. It's just a dark sky with a blurry circle of white in the middle. Now I say 'regular people' because you can have a nice picture of the moon if you have one or a combination of these three things, 1. a satellite thing that takes pictures from space. 2. an ultra zoom high resolution camera. 3. A really good know how of graphic design/photo editing. Me having non and being only your average photo editing know how person have captured what I believe to be a really good photo of the moon with my camera. I have a Canon powershot SX230 HS. I love my camera and my sister for getting it for me for Christmas. What I love even more is that it seems to know what I'm thinking and how to capture it on 'film' (as we all know film cameras are almost all gone, I've seen a few at like Walgreens)
